I’ve been back in Australia for fourteen months. This time I feel no homesickness. I can easily deal with missing my dear relatives and friends in The Netherlands. But I remember how I felt two years ago. I was suffering the worst homesickness imaginable. What has changed?
Use the time it takes to read these words to remember silence. Look at all the white space around the letters you are reading. Remember all the empty space around the things surrounding you. Notice all the silence around the sounds you hear.
New category: Confessions of a Coach. As non-judgemental as I can be towards my clients, as judgemental I can be towards my closest loved ones. I seem to have some releasing* to do!
